 Currently the e-mail notification is run if one of these conditions
 occurs:

 1) The store is full, and no more data can be uploaded.
 2) Some files or directories were not readable.

 The following ought to be added:

 3) Client could not contact the server.

 As it is, it's hard to spot when a client isn't operating properly for
 this reason. (Unless I've missed something).
