No real plans on this to be honest, I created the ticket so that the
files didn't get lost and to make sure I (or any other sucker) worked
out the best strategy for this before the next release.
As long as Box isn't available through the "official" channels I think
it is useful to have packaging scripts in the distribution that people
can use. If it is available through the official channels (eg. Debian
contrib, Fedora extras) then I don't see it really adds value having
them in the Box distribution, and is more likely just to cause
confusion.
I don't use debian or these packages, so any tips from someone in the
know are welcome.
