Thanks for letting us know. I believe this is already fixed in my merge 
branch, and I hope the fix will be merged soon.

My approach was to log an error to syslog/Windows event viewer, and 
continue the backup. I'm considering whether calling the NotifyScript 
would also be a good idea; I think so.
