Er, well, I had just done a "straight copy" of the sh script, so no,
there's no syslog/eventlog logging.

I can have a look at MSDN; it's probably doable, I've just never
bothered for the scripts I use at work.

In fact, I think I have a script to *read* the Application log, so it's
probably not a lot different to write to it :-)
