[Box Backup] autogen code

I wanted to use cygwin to build it but to move onto the porting. I have =
been using the cygwin perl to generate the autogen stuff.

Which perl are you using? The ActiveState port, or the cygwin version?
Are you trying to build under cygwin, or attempting a port?
