[Box Backup] Make/install help

I'm fairly new to linux, and I'm trying to make/install boxbackup.

I've downloaded the tarball, and extracted it to /usr/local/src/boxbackup

I did ./configure, with no errors.

But when I try make, I get the following:

- A lot of warnings about using private kernel header <endian.h> instead
of /usr/include/asm/byteorder.h
- lots of struct IOStream errors in protocol.cpp and .h

What am I doing wrong? Thanks,
