Box Backup stores times in GMT.

Merely opening a file in an MS Office application can change the  
contents of the files.

I would check the clocks on the client app. In snapshot mode, a file  
will only be uploaded if the timestamp is greater than now. If your  
client clocks are two months in the past, none of their changes will  
be uploaded.
