Ok - I will wait for Ben to do his bit...

Do I have to then check out the 0.08 or is there an easier way with svn?

I think Ben is doing that himself (unless you have the exact version
before you started changing, which would be better).

Otherwise once Ben is done you should be able to just:
svn mkdir nick
svn cp ben/0_08 nick/win

Then:
