Well, if I was a billionaire, you'd definitely get a million. ;) I
haven't really looked at Box since last year (shows that it's extremely
stable), so I completely forgot about the daemon running on the client.
bbackupctl reload did the trick.
But ... I am still unable to perform a backup.
When I run a sync, I get:
Apr 24 09:33:32 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Beginning scan of local files
Apr 24 09:33:32 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Opening connection to server
host.domain.com...
Apr 24 09:33:33 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Send Version(0x1)
Apr 24 09:33:33 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Receive Version(0x1)
Apr 24 09:33:33 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Send Login(0x1000,0x0)
Apr 24 09:33:33 fileserver bbackupd[27646]: Exception caught (7/34),
reset state and waiting to retry...
and then nothing more.
The compare still gives me the TLSReadFailed error. I can telnet
host.domain.com 2201 and connect just fine, but I don't know any telnet
commands to see if 2 way communication is indeed working. Since it has
been a long time (like I said earlier), I don't really think I can rule
out any upgrades their ISP has made, or if someone did something to
their network (bad admin, bad!).
Any other ideas to see what may be going on? I'm going to try to setup
a client to my local machine here and see if I can backup to the server,
rule that part out.
Thanks.
Mike
