Sorry for the delay in getting these test results to you, but that's not
the only bad news:

On Gentoo Linux 2.6.11-gentoo-r11 (Pentium 4, 1 GB ram), I consitently get
a failure on the bbackupd test, to wit:

$ ./runtests.pl ALL debug

[big-ol-snip]

FAILED: 2 tests failed
--------
common: PASSED
crypto: PASSED
compress: PASSED
basicserver: PASSED
raidfile: PASSED
backupstore: PASSED
backupstorefix: PASSED
backupstorepatch: PASSED
backupdiff: PASSED
bbackupd: FAILED: 2 tests failed

I tested this both release and debug, with and without xattr enabled on
the (ext3) fs, and since there was some chatter on the list about a stray
bbstored process hanging around causing problems, I also ran the bbackupd
test solo in each configuration, but it always gives '2 tests failed."

Here's a brief rundown:

$ egrep -B 2 -A 2 -i 'fail' ../tests-all-release-noxattr.txt

I gave a bit of context with the -A 2 -B 2, so this is a bit longer than
absolutely needed. Part of the delay in getting you these results was my
trying to ferret out what was going on, but I have been swamped and just
couldn't get enough time together to do a decent job, so I'm posting these
results in hopes they help.

I'll have more time to work on this after tomorrow (Sat), so please let me
know if I can help, or if you need the larger logs.
