This is right at the end of the backup run. Perhaps bbackupd had problems 
writing to a file in the DataDirectory, such as the last_sync_finish file 
or the ID maps? What filesystem is your DataDirectory on, and is it full, 
or is that file somehow immutable? Could you change it to /tmp? I'll add 
better logging of this to my tree, so it should make it into trunk 
eventually.

I don't think it could be a NotifyScript or a StoreObjectInfoFile, since 
both would give a more informative log entry if they had problems, but 
could you try disabling them if you use them?
