[Box Backup] Exception: Connection Protocol_ObjTooBig (7/42) ?

For some reason that's not entirely clear to me, aclocal can't create the 
file called aclocal.m4 in the directory where you are running it. I can 
only think that that's some kind of permissions issue on the directory 
itself.

Can you create such a file manually, e.g. by touching it? What are the 
actual permissions on the directory? What does "ls -ld ." show?

If you cannot create files in that directory, you will definitely not be 
able to build Box Backup until you fix it. Even if it's just the 
aclocal.m4 file, you must still be able to overwrite it.

If nothing else helps, please could you try downloading a fresh copy of 
the source into a new directory and running ./bootstrap, doing everything 
with the same user account (not root).
