The "install-backup-server" script just calls the install command for
each file, so it's possible it's a bug in install in OpenSolaris.
Looking at your output it does look like this may be the case, so you
might need to open a ticket on http://bugs.opensolaris.org/ .

I might have a look at this this weekend if I get a chance. I'll commit
it straight to trunk if I get it working.
