I know it is silly, but I am trying out Box Backup on a mail
server that is using a Maildir spool. This seems not to work
as the files are either new or deleted.
>From what I understand, Boxbackup tries to reclaim space from
old versions of files first. I have all new and deleted files
(no versions of files are created as mail comes in as a new file
or is deleted). Boxbackup seems to run out of space and refuse
to move on to reclaiming space from deleted files. The client
and server are running the 0.10 code from the stable release.
If deleted files are reclaimed in the 0.11 code, I could give
it a try.
Here is the usage currently:
query > usage
Used 223183.5Mb 80% ********************************
Old files 504.1Mb 0%
Deleted files 167192.2Mb 60% ************************
Directories 1207.7Mb 0%
Soft limit 256000.0Mb 92% *************************************
Hard limit 276480.0Mb 100% ****************************************
If I give more to the limits, it just eats that up and does not lower the
deleted files.
Thanks,
