I think there must be something weird about your system. I just updated my 
copy on a Debian Lenny virtual machine and run the backupstore test and it 
passed. Please could you try it on your own system and see if it passes 
there, if run on its own?

What does this error message mean? "chmod: Zugriff auf â??testfilesâ?? 
nicht möglich: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden" I think this may 
have something to do with the problem, as it happens just before the 
backupstore test fails.
