I have always installed Cygwin using the default "Unix line ending"=20
configuration. I wonder if you did the same? If not, perhaps that is the=20
cause of the problems you experienced?

OK, thanks for noticing that, that should not happen. Perhaps we need to=20
compile our own zlib to get a static library for it.

Thanks, will look into this when I have a chance, for the mean time use=20
R2465 instead.

By the way it would be very helpful if you could update the instructions=20
yourself and send me a patch, to save me from doing it.
