I didn't point any fingers, you just owned up :)

People do make branches and all kinds of weird checkouts, you know :) "not 
trunk" is not the same as "distribution".

As far as I can see (I'm doing a test build now) the docs won't be built 
anyway by make, if the timestamps are fresh enough, which they should be 
as we built and tarred the distribution on a unix box.

So it does no harm to leave that section in makeparcels.pl.in, so it can 
stay.
