Any amateur psychologists out there? (Are we not all?)

Have been mining the replies to various of the Gotcha Questions, past
several days.
HOW the presented material is er, digested often gives better
clue-integration? than the author's emphases, IME.
(Replies for this Timesonline/uk item are miles above the vacuous,
oft-juvenile nonsense on many local outlets -- this, even though a
preponderance of posters is from US.)

So.. anybody else been reading unvarnished vox populi?
Sampling every 10 pp on the absurdly long lists -- is one way. I've
read several lists, complete. Ex:

Three days worth on this item's replies,
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/09/24/national/w191031D10.DTL

/Bush scrambles to save $700B bailout plan/ is one via which a Gaussian
might be got. SFGate is hardly a l33T hangout, but then.. there's at
least one Orionxx. The usual childish crap interspersed with non-Econ
and a smattering of the less-dumb variety; still: a Rorschach. There's
even a bit of (historical perspective) eloquence to be found amidst the
dross.

Clearly, any small conception of the necessity [!?!] of Some Stopgap |
Panic Breaker: is subsumed amidst the expected, deserved wrath over the
likelihood that many of the intertwined GreedHeads shall be saved from
their Just Desserts: ruination. That the Irascible Ones may, via this
mindset be torpedoing their very own best interests -- appears to remain
a subtlety just out of grasping; no surprise there.

Drill Baby Drill / Burn Baby Burn - take yer pick.
We'll go out (or not) with Stupid Slogans, leaving any eloquence about
the banality, to the historians. Or versa vice.
Shotgun Weddings for Pure political Theatre: what could be a more pukka
Repo/Rove MO? McC is more Tricky Dick shameless than /Tricky Dick/ --
shorter fuse, too: imagine this sucker with the Bagman's Codes.

May we get out of this-all without buckets-o'-blood.
