[Xml-bin] Performance Figures

Hi Al, list members,

to get some performance figures for the binary vs. text struggle, you
should ask Claude (?) from MPEG-7. They have a complete test suite and
test data on their password protected site. And as MEPEG-7 BiM is an
alternative external represesentation of standard XML 1.0, iz should be
possible (when not already done) to convert the testdata to text and
compare parsing time.
