I have just merged Chris' latest Win32 stuff and his fixes to
existing functionality. If you have time, please review revision 456.
I want to get a release candidate 3 out, so no more changes, except
to fix horribly broken stuff. If you notice something, go ahead and
commit fixes to trunk. If there's something which is OK for now, but
should be revisited later, commit a comment with the keyword TODO
next to the relevant code.
Once I have a thumbs up for revision 458 from a few other developers,
I will package up a release candidate.
Then, I would like those listed here
http://boxbackup.hostworks.ca/index.php/Release_plan
to sign off the candidate after testing.
I think we're missing FreeBSD, NetBSD and varying Solaris from that
list. And no specific mentions of PPC either.
After 0.10 is out, I would like 0.11 to concentrate on getting Win32
being "perfect". (I know Charles has some advice on this.)
While that's happening, we can discuss the changes we'd like to make
for the next one.
Thanks for all your hard work, especially Chris who seems to have
spent a large proportion of the last few weeks of his life fighting
Windows.
Ben
