Hello all,

Just built a release which includes the timer as Gary found.
http://boxbugs.omniis.com/boxwin0.09g.exe I have only done very limited
testing so I am putting out there for more testers to have a play.

I am also working on a bug which appears to be skewing the time
attributes of some (specifically large) files. Hopefully have a release
for that soon.

Great work Gary, thanks you saved me a lot of time hunting for this!

Yes, it will continue diffing until the whole file has been processed
(with the time limit "disregarded"). After the diff, it will attempt to
upload the changes - and that's when the SSL error/"network issue"
between a client and a server comes in.

It's supposed to switch off a boolean "keep diffing" flag (see signal()
handler in the same source file). Once switched off, the diff should
stop, and changes uploaded.

P.S.

We might be running here into a combination of problems, but so far I
am seeing improvements with the patch I mentioned (Cygwin).
