Whilst SVN is nice, I found bdb ridiculous, nothing but trouble. Even for my 
one-man rcs type setup.... (I got into the habit of dumping the dbs four times a 
day.... well cron did)

Its new native format (fsfs) is supposedly faster and definately much less prone 
to screwing up...
