[Box Backup] Backing up Box Backup Data...

After picking up a new little streamer, I was wondering how to do 
backups of our systems ... I will be setting up a dedicated server with 
Box Backup to do the daily backups ... now I'm thinking about whether to 
backup (for off-site storage) the original machines via the network to 
tape, or alternatively store the BB directories to tape ... the latter 
will probably be more to store, due to the 50% RAID5 overhead ... also, 
I don't know how consistent the data structures are ... (don't want to 
stop the bb server for the backup ...)

How do you folks handle that?
