"u" is not even a hex digit. But "e" and "u" differ by one bit, 0x10. I
suspect you have faulty memory, or your system is overclocked. Try running
memtest on your machine overnight and see what happens.

Again, "r" is not a hex digit, but differs from "b" by 0x10.
Until you can reliably create two ODs of the same file with no differences
between them, please don't expect Box Backup to work reliably on your
system :-)
