Hi Richard,

Mainly the client, to make it work well on Windows, and to fix a few bugs
that bit me and some other users.

There are changes to the server, but only to make it run on Windows to run
the unit tests (it should not be used as a real server) and I don't
believe that they will break anything on Unix.

> Are they backward compatible?

Yes, both are fully backwards compatible with 0.10 as far as I know, and
I'm happy to fix any issues found with them.

> Are they i386 specific or does it work on PPC OS X?

They should work on PPC OSX, although I have discovered issues with
running a server on OSX, which are also present in the trunk and probably
in 0.10 too. Therefore I would not recommend running a Box Backup server
on OSX at the moment.

> How can we get this rolled into the trunk?

I'm putting patches into my merge tree and waiting for people to review
them and approve them for merge into the trunk. Unfortunately, Ben has
only approved Martin to approve my patches so far, and both Ben and Martin
are too busy to review anything right now. Martin has appealed for help,
but so far I don't believe that anyone has answered that call.

> Maybe there should be a 0.10.1 release. :)

I would very much like to see that, but I don't think it will happen until
I can get the patches merged. I could perhaps release an unofficial
version of the source based on my tree, like I do with Windows binaries,
if there are no objections.

Cheers, Chris.
