My vote would be:
bbackupctl sync (heeds MinimumFileAge and MaxUploadWait) - i.e. not all
files get uploaded
bbackupctl force-sync (does not respect MinimumFileAge or MaxUploadWait)
- i.e. all files are forced to be updated on the server.

I might be way off here as I have not used either feature :-)

That would be a good feature I would think.  Not sure if that hoses up
other accounting though.  I would expect it would just reset any
counters.
