I'm really out of my element on macs...  :^)  Maybe I actually double
clicked the .dmg first--sorry.

Thanks for everything, James!  Remember to dumb it down for me if you
can (as I sit here on my windows box, I'm not even sure I know how to
get to a command line on the mac; I'm sure it's in one of the menus).
I'll try to update the wiki with what we gather up.
