Hi Achim,
I will try to compile it, was planning on learnig how to do that anyway.
It just seems that I am already stuck at the installation of cygwin.
At installation time of the cygwingDevel.exe, I changed the packages to install from "default" to "install".
According to the installation page this would select all packages.
Maybe this was a bit overkill :-)
Now the cygwin box starts up but disapears right after that.
Not sure why but I will go on with it on monday, as I'll be gone all weekend.
