Bill-

Come the fsck on awready. Do you really think that over a hundred Repos
that would have otherwise towed the party line and followed their
Fearless Leader toward socialism suddenly changed their minds because,
of a tongue lashing at the head of the putative leader of the
opposition?!? Puh-LEEEZE awready! If that's really the case, then
boo-fuckin-hoo. Doesn't say much about the quality of the players on
your team, does it...if that's all it takes to get them to go pouting
all the way home....

    <pre wrap="">the controversial measure.
Lots of arm turning, but they still came up 13 votes short. The Dow Jones average
dropped hard on the news. It's been down 200 or more all day, and is down 500
right now.

What happens now is an open question. More negotiation, but what the
result will be is hard to say. Significant groups of both Democrats and
Republicans don't like the bill, but there are a lot of opinions on why.
