Please could you try this older version:

I didn't test 564 before releasing it, because I thought it was a trivial 
change, but it's quite possible that I've broken something. I'm pretty 
sure that 538 works with regexes.

I don't understand the crash either. Did it happen immediately after you 
stopped the service?
